So your guys’s plan for the photo studio website/portfolio is to win clients with texts, right?)) This screen might be a waste of time for a lot of visitors.
This screen is actually good, and you should start with it. Maybe even take all the space from side to side. This what will show your stories of preserving memories and captured emotions, not some text.
Your visitors will look for visuals they have in their mind, and it’s definitely not an images of texts))
“Show, don’t tell”
Other than that you’ve already got the comment for the title’s line high, it’s to big for the all caps, use around 80-90% or something, it will work better. Consider to simplify the contact form, right now it looks a bit too complicated maybe (btw what the date means: date to shoot, date to contact, birthday…). And yeah everything else is looking really good and clean, just need the right places to be)
You said that this screen is a waste of time because of the description, right? I just need to clear the text for this section right? I just want to confirm if I understand it the right way. I will decrease the line height and try to find a way to fix the form. Thanks in advance.😄
It’s just a waste of time, and probably will cost you a lot (most) of people leaving without buying. Ever saw those heat maps for a website?
Your current hero screen should go to the About page, and your Home page should start with the works.
Here it is:
This is how your Home page should start. With your photo-stories. It gives your visitors what they are looking for - visuals they are looking for.
Then they click on the story they like to explore and go exploring:
You can put some discription about the story early, or at the end...
If you feel crazy, you can try experiment with something like that:
But your elegant style already good and not taking away anithing from the photos, which is very important...
Thank you very much. Btw, where do you get those layouts and wire frames. I will change according to one of these layouts.
Did them myself, if you need I can put it in a separate file
Okay, appreciate it
Sorry, I was a bit straight forward, thought it’s a real project)) Just saw TL here and there))
Sry for late reply, it is not real project, it is for my portfolio, sry if I said something to cause misunderstanding
