Error 522 on Cloudflare hosted site

Yesterday we began getting errors (522) on our site which is also hosted by CF and as Im a junior I hoped that someone would know but as our lead left a few days ago I find myself in the deepend on this. I have tried clearing the cache on our dashboard. Is there maybe some limit we have hit? I checked the server status and it seems operational. Help pls

So far in my investigating, searched dns in CF - and see its proxied to Digital Ocean so I think we might have reached a limit of sorts...still investigating Digital Ocean say this is specific to Cloudflare and that we should try disabling the CDN....I wish I could get some feedback here

Can you share any more details? A 522 means that your origin web server - is that hosted on Digital Ocean? - cannot be reached (times out before we get a reply)
