His blog/advice column is a pleasure to read. His personal style is also interesting, insofar as it deviates from some of the core advice I've read on this discord (eg, he seems to be fond of low-rise jeans with spread collar dress shirt, tie, and jacket; he has no problem with wearing oxford shoes with jeans; he's doesn't appear to reach for OCBDs that often).
The DC shop is near my office and I've browsed a few times, it's a great store. I'll likely go soon to try on their loafers, which appear to have a casual/round last, and maybe explore some wedding tie options.
I love their 5-pocket cut, though I wouldn't mind if the rise was even higher. Everything else feels very J.Crew 2010s with the quality dial turned up a notch. I can't get excited about it.
