Pant length alteration for Spier & Mackay suit
Hey:
The Spier & Mackay suit I just bought comes with a 37" unfinished inseam. How much can this be adjusted? I have pretty short legs, jeans that fit me are usually 34x28. Is this possible to adjust to given the 37" inseam?

Take it to your local tailor. It shouldn't take more than a couple days and should be like $20

The entire point of the unfinished inseam is so you can take them to a tailor, so… yes
37" is the universal "this should fit everyone, have it hemmed shorter" length. Bring it to a tailor, pay $10-20.
A tailor should also be able to recommend exactly how much to hem them, if you let them know how much of a break you want
You bring them to the tailor, with your dress shoes, and the tailor says put 'em on. Then they ask how long. Then they pin them up and go "this much?" and you say yeah, or no, until they're pinned at the right place. They don't so much recommend as much as pin :P
