Chinos recommendations
Hi everyone. I'm currently looking for nice brands of chinos with at least 2% of strechy materials in them and a fit that goes from straight to relaxed/wide. Shoot anything that comes in mind. Thanks!

Why do you want at least 2% stretchy materials
Yeah what stretch needs to happen in a relaxed fit chino? There’s already plenty of space to maneuver.
Banana Republic has straight and relaxed "rapid movement" chinos which are cotton blends. I like their Smithfield (I don't believe those are offered any longer) and Dawson pants, but this is probably idiosyncratic; both models are very relaxed.
They're my de facto chinos and part of the last touches I want to make to my collection
Good point about the stretch for relaxed fit. I guess this applies for straight and tighter because they tend to rub slightly against my thighs. The only thing making me keep them is the stretch/freedom of movement they allow
I do not work with 100% cotton since I have yet to see that composition on athletic fit pants for instance
That requirement is likely going to find you a lot of “performance” or “tactical” chinos, which generally don’t look as good as traditional chinos.
Already stacked on a few of them too haha. Avoiding Bonobos ever since I came to this chat at least
I highly do not like stretch. Much recommend trousers that just fit a little less tight. Try out some 100% cotton ones, and also linen, and cotton-linen blends. Simple stores that have them: ralph lauren, j crew, todd snyder. There are dozens more on a very long list.
I agree with the stretch comments.
I just bought a bunch of more casual chinos from Alex Mill i.e. https://www.alexmill.com/collections/pants/products/straight-leg-pant-in-vintage-washed-chino-in-faded-khaki that I'm quite pleased with in terms of build quality and fit (I am taller and athletic and bought the longer inseam). Make sure you're wearing your correct waist size. These have a decently high rise so you should take your measurements carefully if you're not used to that

Straight Leg Pant in Vintage Washed Chino
You've been asking for a flat-front pant you could wear every day—and we aim to please. These are done in a non-stretch (but very soft) chino that's washed + garment-dyed for a lived-in, vintage feel. True straight-leg. Zip-fly closure, adjustable tabs at the waist, Corozo buttons, and coin pocket detail. Garment-dyed
They're somewhat expensive but I feel the build quality is worth it.
