what site are you uploading to?
the error is a response from the server, so it's not really a filezilla issue/error
its a simple html css site
I mean what service are you connecting to?
.com
that's a top level domain extension. At the top of filezilla it should say ftp://user@somethinghere - FileZilla, what is that "somethinghere" on yours?
hm, it probably just doesn't support changing permissions, at least not like that. Why are you trying to change permissions?
i have to update some code
i also try to upload file or override files but that also not work
you may have to contact your hosting provider's support then, the error isn't something you can fix from inside filezilla
do you have some kind of control panel for the site? Or a way to log in through SSH? You might be able to change the permissions that way
no i did not have one
this problem is because of permission from admin user if admin user provide me the permission than i will be able to edit or delete files.am i right??
pretty much. If you can't delete or edit the files, that's an issue the person or company managing the server will have to solve for you
i am trying to access ftp via chromo but it is showing this . i have read in a article that chromo does not support ftp now .is it true because when i try to enable my ftp from chromo i did not find any option for ftp
what is chromo?
sorry *chrome
if chrome supports ftp (and that's a big if, I have no idea) then it's probably just to download files
ok
