server.properties disappearing out of nowhere
A new player joined my server, said something and the whole thing crashed. After that, I tried relaunching the server but my server.properties file was blank. What do I do now?

A big part of the logs was also not saved at all
Send what logs you do have
mclo.gs - Paste, share & analyse your Minecraft logs
Easily paste your Minecraft logs to share and analyse them.
I tried writing back the information in server.properties, but whenever I launch my server, it keeps deleting it again.
I checked multiple times that I saved server.properties properly
What about logs from the time of that user?
apparently the logs stopped being recorded around 4 minutes before that user even joined
i'll send
I tried replacing the server.jar file to the latest Pufferfish version and got this error instead
https://mclo.gs/w48A5KA
oh, my discordSRV got a lot more logs saved before the server stopped
No wait, after I double checked, the errors started happening immediately after that player joined, at around :49
java.io.IOException: No space left on device
Could it be you ran out of storage ._.
i don't think this is out of storage
Seems this was when it all went to shit:
[16:49:47] [Thread-23/WARN]: org.sqlite.SQLiteException: [SQLITE_IOERR_SHMSIZE] I/O error within xShmMap while trying to resize an existing shared memory segment (disk I/O error)
Seeing a lot of warning messages from xShmMap
Also probablyyyy not the best idea to install a new server.jar while your server is having these major issues, doesn’t seem like something that would fix anything just make it worse
Dang I messed up big time, obviously backups don't work on Enviro atm so I can't really rollback anything
Mon 16:49:48 WARN squaremap] Failed to write file 'plugins/squaremap/web/tiles/players.json'
java.io.IOException: No space left on device
Put a ticket in with your host
I will. Thank you for helping, both.
can still be out of inodes like to much files
I’m thinking it’s a memory issue, because that I/o exception is caused when a database file is writable, but a journal file is not. The core issue seems to be that while squaremap was rendering it hit a big roadblock and decided to drop a grenade in your server files
martyrdom
@Nerd BTW might have a problem with one of your nodes, some people also reporting it on your discord
Aware of it and working on it
Weird thing is the node isn't full, else it would be a straight forward fix
Problem has been resolved, thanks nerd
