Seedcracking Mitigation 1.20
Hi all. I'm looking into ways to mitigate seedcracking, however a lot of the resources I have found are now outdated:

I have been looking into vanilla-like custom world generations so that it should be impossible unless the cracker knows the generation logic; however I haven't found anything vanilla-like yet.
Is there any other resources or ideas I am missing?

Not yet, we're creating a new world if we need to.
ok so
you want to change spigot.yml seeds
paper does have a setting to change them aswell
do that and it should prevent seedcracking
But they can still find those no? I understand that it decouples them from each other- but this isn't a perfect fix?
Like they could find the structure seed alone, and then use that to find new structures. (i.e. finding enough end cities could give you the end structure seed, and then allow you to find all of them)
That technique would be useful for things like ore generation cracking not helping you determine the structures as they are split
it changes how it generates structures in general and that decouples it from the vanilla seed generation

I wonder why https://www.spigotmc.org/threads/antiseedcracker-1-15-1-16-x.451684/ stopped working- as reading the source code for seedcracker would leads me to believe it could still help. 🤔
I remember Docm77 talked about in a video like a year he and the scicraft guys cracked the hermitcraft seed just based off bedrock patterns at the bottom of the world. I’m not sure of the validity of the claim, but if it’s true, the spigot/paper changes will help, but will never guarantee
