But… it’s still over lapping, now I tried many percentages below 50% cause last time I check half of 50 is 25!
Can someone please explain this to me? Cause I’m lost.
And yes I Google the answer as well and someone put the same as the PARENT 50% but it still shows the text overlapping.

We've got a channel dedicated to posting questions about CRL, #conquering-responsive-layout There's a lot of examples there of the first challenge solution, as well as in the archived #conquering-responsive-layouts channel. For future questions about CRL, please make a post in that first one, and share your code in a format that people can view, something like codepen is ideal
From what I remember about day 1, you just have to set the width and remove the fixed height from the container
the overflow is happening simply because the browser is forced to keep the container at 300px, and if you don't remove that forced height, the container won't be able to grow with the increased length of the text

Firstly, I did NOT see that channel “#conquering-responsive-layouts. Secondly, I did not see “NOT to @ Kevin or Mods”! Even tho, I was trying to send it without tagging him, I kept getting a highlighted notification to enter a tag! So, I put his name then the notification popped up at the bottom to choose one of those tags! Before you attack me for the genuine question that I have asked, don't be rude. Do you guys want people to pay for courses and not expect to be asked a question? Like, I didn't know you were a moderator, I know the person who's the face of the course, which is Kevin, so in any HUMAN nature he will be tagged before you or anyone. Thanks for your response but you responded with the same question I've asked as an answer.

hey bud, no one is attacking you. All I did was point to the rules in the <id:guide> which you should've seen as you joined the server:
I simply asked you to post in the appropriate place next time, one of the other rules in that server guide, not just because it keeps things organized, but because it helps you get help from your peers in the course who have current and direct experience with the problems you're trying to solve.

it's really not the first time, no. Everyone else got a similar message and most just respond with "oh okay" and do as requested the next time

I did, actually. Ignorance of the rules is never an excuse to break them. I just pointed out to you that this isn't the way we like things to go on this server, I didn't even give you a warning or anything.

I was just pointing you to the rule, it's not an official warning like described in that rules document (which is the first step towards a timeout and eventually a ban). Merely a friendly reminder of something you should've read before posting
And again IGNORANCE of a rule another cheap shot! I bet 90% of the time a person is gonna ask a QUESTION first before they read the guides, it's a basic human nature!

Look, if you want to gaslight just because someone was trying to help guide you in the right direction, go for it
There's nothing to read between the lines. We have rules on this server, people are expected to read them and follow them. We're all very lenient with enforcement, even an official warning is usually only given after several instances of broken rules.
I feel like I've been nothing but kind and understanding in how I've approached you, and all I got back was aggressively worded replies accusing me of being some kind of horrible person trying to ruin your day just because you asked a question.
No one is gaslighting anything, I asked a simple question, with a no-answer response. Okay, I asked the question in the wrong channel “I DID NOT DENY THIS” but to be hit with cheap shots it's kinda of preteen, so I don't know
if you want to continue with the original topic of this conversation, the issue you were having with CRL challenge 1, I'm still more than willing to help with that, but the rest of this conversation is now over

let's not all pile on unnecessarily, okay? If this person paid for CRL, then that's an issue, because it's a freely available course, and if someone is somehow scamming people into paying for it that's a serious issue and needs to be addressed / figured out

if one of the other people in this thread blocked you, I think that might prevent you from responding to their messages, but that's not in my or anyone else's control, that's just part of how discord works

ah yes, that's probably it. I deleted a message by megaByte and my response to that message. If you responded to that one, that might've caused a problem

that tiny lock icon on the COURSES one means it's a restricted channel, only available to people with the right roles, which you have. You can still post there, and read the messages. The larger lock icon on the other two are because we moved to the forum channel a while back, and those channels are now (intentionally) read only
