Does anyone know if there's a particular name for this kind of hair style?
Like with the top kept long and natural color, with the sides being shaved and bleached or colored? Similar to the cartoon image included, the reverse in some ways of the real human picture included. My friend is asking and I'm using it as an excuse to dip my toes back into this community.

I’d call the right an undercut with the top bleached
Based on the roots on top, it looks like the whole thing was bleached for a while before the undercut
It might not actually be an undercut. It could be a regular blended haircut with a longer top. Hard to say from the picture

Undercut came to mind for me too,,
but that might not be it
100% that's an undercut with sides tapered (not faded)
If it's a hairstyle they want for themselves then they're best off just showing the stylist a photo rather than trying to find the right name to say.
