Co op Advice
I'm starting CPA in January and wanted some advice from people who have received co ops on how the process was and what you think allowed you to get said position. I'd also like to know if you were offered a job and if not if you have achieved employment post grad. Thanks in advance guys, the co op is (as I'd image for most people) a BIG thing for me

I know co op is far away for me but I want to be as prepared as possible, I'm studying everyday anyway.
For me, the biggest thing that landed my co op was projects that I had build outside of school. That was pretty much all we talked about during the interview. One of my projects, the tech stack, and my motivation for building it.
That co op started off being 4 month, then turned to 8 month, then into a full time job
Everyone takes the same courses, things you do outside of all this will def make you stand out
Yeah as a student with no industry experience the only thing that you can do to stand out is personal projects or hackathons/events. They will make your resume stand out, and become conversation topics for interview. Think about it - what is there to talk about at an interview except stuff you’ve worked on? If you’ve not worked on anything significant, what will you talk about?
After a few semesters think up a project idea and make it. Ideally something useful for you or someone else and something non trivial in terms of work effort
