Wedding in 2 hours, will this fly??
I don’t know about white for a wedding? Is it too much? Same with the baby blue..
Also are the pants too tight, and do I need a shirt under my white shirt?

What's the dress code for the wedding? You don't need to worry about wearing a white dress shirt, the "no white" rule is for wearing a dress as it can be seen as undermining the bride
formal/cocktail attire
You're underdressed then. Do you have a suit? If not, a tailored jacket you could wear? More formal trousers? Leather shoes that aren't sneakers?
this is on the FAQ for the wedding, is this too much in violation
Do you own a suit?
Yes, it’s been years so might not fit well, is that much better than what I got?
In my mind formal/cocktail attire immediately means suit
Yes, a suit is cocktail attire
You should wear a suit
Okay!! Thanks guys I’ll try my suit on now
shoes tie belt??
I’m clueless lmao
Black shoes, black belt, what are your tie options
Much better, looking good dude
Thank you both! I’ve got a black tie, that’s all I’ve got
I have time to pick something up
It’s a bit monochrome but it works
If I were in your shoes I'd pick up something else, a black necktie on a dark suit is a little... funeraly for a festive occasion
He can take off the coat when he’s there but good point
okay! If I get a different colored tie do I change the shoes and belt
Nope
gotcha, I’ll go get a colored tie, I’m thinking blue
That could work, look for something with a bit of texture if possible
It's summer so a linen tie could be nice
Is no tie a reasonable option
I’d just wear the black tie rather than no tie. if there are many other people without ties then you could just take it off
Perfect! Thank you so much, seriously a life saver
