For some reason I can't connect the domain to the site and to the server itself
Hello, for some reason when I try to connect my server minecraft and the site located on 2 different hosting I do not connect to my IP neither from the minecraft server nor to the site, that is, I make 2 A records and at the same time can not connect to the site nor to the minecraft server on the domain mineway.one I should make for the server subdomain for example play and the site to leave the same and then everything will work.
I want to fix this to be able to go to both the site and the server with 1 ip.

its work, and in the screenshot in the publication how it doesn't work
The first one doesn't work because you have two values for the same name. This means Cloudflare will override the record to use the proxied one. You probaaly want to make an SRV record https://community.cloudflare.com/t/creating-dns-records-in-cloudflare-for-a-minecraft-server/176742 so even though they will type mineway.one they will be pointed to play

Creating DNS Records in Cloudflare for a Minecraft Server
Please select the type of setup you require, on your root domain or on a subdomain Root domain, e.g. example.comAdd an A record for your root domain example.com or @ and point it to the IP address of your Minecraft server. Make sure it is set to :grey: as your server won’t work running through Cloudflare’s proxy. Create an SRV record for the...
and the site will also be accessible by mineway.one right?
hmm no, SRV recording didn't help me, I can't ping my server, it uses the site's ip and port 25565 🙂 How can I make the port 25565 use a specific ipi but also the site can be accessed?
its no work
he ping site ip
This is what SRV records are for. You need to follow the guide for the SRV record. The target would be
play.<domain>
The ping will still go to Cloudflare IPs but Minecraft will know to look at a different domainI have this and while pinging will resolve to Cloudflare IPs Minecraft will point to play.community.cyberjake.xyz
Can I do it without a subdomain?
Yeah. You would use
@
in place of Name
and Target
but it doesn't work. I sent you a screenshot.
it pings the site's IP and port 25565
.
What do your DNS records look like currently?
.
You need to have the target of the SRV record be
play.mineway.one
.Can't just make mineway.one for both the server and the site?
I just originally wanted the server to be available on 2 ip mineway.one and play.mineway.one and the site also on mineway.one
You will have one for the site and the SRV record for
_minecraft._tcp.mineway.one
will point minecraft to play.mineway.one
while the website can still be servedI get it, so I can not make access to the server on mineway.one and to the site at the same time on the same ip, necessarily need play, yes?
Correct. Because
mineway.one
is won't be able to have minecraft be accessible on it. You need to have an DNS record so minecraft can connect.
