Hi there! I was out on a date when we decided to take a shortcut home across a field that turned out to be quite muddy.

Would anyone have advice for cleaning and restoring the shoes?
Maybe try a little oxiclean and hot water solution and a soft bristle toothbrush

Not perfect but much better!
Gonna soak them in hot water with a bit of oxiclean before doing more to them
good luck, at least they look fine as is to me, as long as the stains are pretty even imo
wouldn't want people to know you hiked in your hiking shoes!

Out of curiosity, how comfortable do you find them? I’m consider getting these to add to my rotation of shoes I wear at work in a hospital.
Not OP but I really enjoy my XT-6s. I have flat feet and actually find these really comfortable to wear even without custom inserts

Sorry never saw this, I find them very very comfortable, although the shame of wearing them on pavement is it will wear out their hiking shoe soles quite quickly
Yeah it is very unfortunate how fast the sole wears out if you wear them a lot
