Forge auto start and stopping server by user
Hi guys, posted this general question in a couple MC reddits and vault hunters, but not figuring it out.
Does anyone have a way similar to SleepingServerStarter that works for Forge Java servers?
I've got a small family only self hosted Java 1.18.2 vault hunters server. It only is played by a few people and depending on the day, every couple days.
I'd like to have a way that when someone attempts to join and the server is off, it will launch the server, or if someone isn't on for a period of time it will save and turn off the server or reduce usage.
Server is Java running on a headless Ubuntu computer, vault hunters and MC specifically have high RAM usage that if nobody is using, I'd like to substantially reduce the power drain and RAM usage to extend the life of the computer and reduce costs.
