Can't connect to locally hosted server via bedrock.
I'm locally hosting a paper server on my pc, with Geyser and floodgate but the server isn't even recognized. I previously tried hosting just a bedrock server and that didn't work either. I can't connect via localhost, nor can friends connect via my public ip. All we see is the "Unable to connect to world" error. Not sure what other troubleshooting steps to take. I have all my ports set up correctly as it works just fine in java. Thanks for the help.

for others to join you, you will have to port forward, also makes sure that the port for the geyser server is different to the port the java server
make sure that the ip that the geyser server is set to is 0.0.0.0 in the config
I have 3 ports set up for tcp+udp, default java, and 19232, and 19233
I can't even connect to it via localhost
does geyser say anything in the terminal?
just checked, its still 0.0.0.0
only on startup when it loads the plugins
are you sure the port is correct? you said you used 19232
i'll double check
typo on my end, it is set to 19132 and 19133
what ip are you using to attempt to connect to the geyser server?
allowed both through firewall as well
tried both localhost and my machines ipv4
was having the same issue with a purely bedrock server, thats why I figure'd i'd try geyser
i dont know if bedrock is compatible with the localhost naming thingy, so id suggest trying 127.0.0.1
same issue, tried to get one of my friends to join earlier with my public ip and they got hit with the same msg
what are you using to test geyser?
not sure I understand the question,
I can connect just fine from java mc
what platform
bedrock
windows 10
there you go
11 i guess?
its win 10 edition still
is that not compatible?
it is
or are there some extra shenanigans required for windows, I thought it was all just "bedrock" universally
i just wanted to know what platform you were using
can you post your latest.log and geyser config.yml to mclo.gs?
different instances
I gotta run to the bathroom, i'll return shortly, thanks for all the assistance.
there doesnt look to be anything wrong here
idk why it wont work
