Just don't maximize the windows to full screen.
If you are referring to the automatic update, liveserver can do that. A project created with vite will also do it.

grab chrome window and kinda just slam it into right side of the screen and it will automatically take up half of the screen.. and then do same with vs code on the right side and you're good to go.
This is not needed in Windows 11. Hovering over the maximize button gives you options for several standard zones.
