Okay so, I just got done with a 7 day ban. How long should I wait to spoof? Would it help to use vpn to avoid another ban or are they watching it? My friend tried to spoof right after his 7 day and immediately got a 30 day so I'm sure they're watching somehow

As I read the support threads I'm realizing that a VPN won't really help and it's the modded APK that really does it. I have a follow up question though. When Niantic checks for modded apks I wonder if it just checks the signed in account. Will signing out regularly help or does it leave some sort of footprint? I can't really root. Running a pixel 7 pro. Does that drastically improve your chances of discretion when using a modified client? Or even then should I just use location spoofing. Also does anyone know when first warning clears? I know I had a 7 day ban years ago as well but I can't remember how many years
