High end brand or stores selling cloth for athletic builds?
I'm 5'10" athletic build, on the bulkier size. I'm tired of either wearing cloth/pants that are too tight or sizing up but having them end up too long. Most of the highend brands out there (e.g. Loro Piana, Amiri) are all for people with a slimmer build. Do I just have to always get it tailored or are there brands or stores out that that targets people like me?

at the price point you can just get it custom or tailored
there's like zero reason not to
I probably would not put Amiri and LP in the same category, but nevertheless
the answer to "nothing will fit me" is pretty much always tailoring, for better or worse
Would you then buy the larger size or the smaller size for the tailor?
larger size
you can always remove more material for more money
you can't really add material back
but custom is probably ideal

(it won't be true custom so much as it'll be made to measure/custom sizing)
