tps is ticks per second, mspt is time taken for each tick to occur minus the wait time for the next tick minecraft was designed to run at 20 ticks per second, each tick taking a maximum of 50ms to execute. if a tick takes longer then 50ms then the server is classed as lagging as itll take longer to catch up. if a tick takes less then 50ms to execute then itll call a method thatll cause the server to wait x amount of time till the next tick is set to start

TPS and MSPT | spark docs
The /spark tps command shows the server TPS (ticks per second) and MSPT (milliseconds per tick), but what do these values mean?
