How can I remove the brace highlighting thing ? When at the end or the beginning of a bracket it just highlights them

Not sure if you can turn it off, could try changing the Brace Matching colour in fonts and colours?
Already tried that, there is still a box around it

I already tried google, there is only vscode solutions
