India - Pants suggestions

I'm in india for the foreseeable future. Looking for good brands for business casual (chinos etc) and dress pants There's very little in the way of reviews from unbiased sources or people who are just paid to write anything at all unfortunately

You should always get your dress pants tailored considering how cheap it is here. Search around for good tailors in your area. Online services like Bombay Shirt Company are good too.

Tailors stock fabric. Dedicated fabric stores are also there. Raymond, Arvind are well known and have in-house tailors. You can find several online stores as well.

Get tailor recs, make an appointment and explore their offerings. Get pants made for you If you’re in India you want tropical wools and lightweight cottons and linens. See what they have

Raymond, Arvind Mills are very well known for their fabrics I'm from the south, one of my fav fabric places is a govt run place that stocks fabrics direct from weavers. I'm sure lots of state governments also have similar things, check your local listings

Yes! I totally forgot about the handloom industry. Yes, you can find a wide variety.

Also, once I went to Raymond store and when the tailor was out on break, I asked if he would stitch a jeans for me outside of Raymond store and he agreed (at half the cost) and after that I got multiple clothing stitched from him. Tailoring is pretty cheap in India so 100% go for tailored outfit. For fabric you can go to any of the store mentioned above, feel and then decide. My go to is arvind cotton fabric. [I live in USA now but nothing can match the quality and fitting of arvind fabric and getting it tailored]
