Please check your server log for errors from your plugins.
If you need further help understanding the errors, please send us the whole log file.
Where can I find the server log?
Logs are stored in
<server_directory>/logs/
. Search for a file explorer in your server's management interface and navigate to that directory. Once you've opened that up, search for the latest.log
file. Some providers have a separate page for logs and may hide the "logs" folder.
On Aternos:
• Go to https://aternos.org/log/.
On Minehut and server.pro:
• Go to the "files" tab in the left menu.
• Navigate to the root directory of your server.
• From there navigate to /logs/latest.log
.
What should I do with the log?
• First of all, read it! I mean, that's what you do all the time when you run a server, isn't it? Try to locate any errors that have anything to do with the issue you are facing.
• If you got the latest.log
file or created a .txt
file with the necessary errors you can upload these directly to the channel, but we prefer if you upload them to https://mclo.gs/.
• If you have trouble downloading the log file, copy/paste the text to a paste service (like mclogs). Copy the link that it gives you and send it to us. (Don't worry, McLogs hides your users' IPs.)Admincraft Canned Responses
No space left but you have 100gb left, do you have enough inodes left?
damn i first tought you were saying i was stupid since i didnt know what inodes were but, how can i verify this exactly ?
How do you host your server?
Under Linux there is "df -hi"
well, i dont know about this but, server is running with pterodactyl, not exactly sure if it helps but i think its under linux
should i try to run "df -hi" in the console or where?
oh yeah i just saw "Host: Linux 5.4.0-144-generic (amd64)" i think this is it
i've done my research, i am currently searching for a ssh client but i cant even keep the server running for 1 minutes, it keep crashing. is there still a way to write commands in the ssh client ?
The question is did you setup the stuff yourself or is it like bought, like did you buy a mc server via a holster or a VPS or dedicated server.
With the server can't even run for one minute do you mean the Minecraft server or the host system.
@KuggerQC contact your host, it doesn't sound like you're managing the server yourself
Yeah its a vps, i am the one who added all the plugins and all but its the server that cant run, when i start it i get all the usual messages, the plugins that get loaded and then i get spammed extremely fast with error and like 10 seconds after the the server crashes
Still the disk full things? What was the result of checking for inode usage?
did u use install script for pterodactyl doesnt have much to do with ur issue its just not very recommended in general
No i havent
I couldnt verify since i dont have the time to connect because the server crashes before i can connect to a ssh
Whats the error message
Or what does it show
Hold on i need to open my pc and all
never i cannot show you at the moment, the other owner of the server archived everything and i cant unarchive them i dont know why our hoster is lagging
i'll try to download them but its going to take a moment
nevermind all the logs are empty, i think the other owner resetted everything. i guess i'll close that thread now
