Budget Friendly Recreation of this Look?
Ripped this look from Madewell but can't afford those kind of prices. Could anyone help me recreate this look in a budget friendly way?

the coat is gonna be the hard part. it sorta looks like the abercrombie dad coat people went crazy over a couple years ago, so look for that.
I've heard good things about columbiaknit beanies for the hat. Just grab a secondhand champion reverse weave or russell athletic for the hoodie. Pants are nondescript olive chinos which you can find anywhere, just try to go for all cotton for good drape. The shoes seem to be birkenstocks, which will be difficult to find a good alt for.
apparently kohl's has a boston knockoff
but you might just keep an eye on sales and ebay. i payed less than $100 for my bostons a couple years back
People keep putting up insane prices on grailed i saw some absolutely cooked Bostons for like $180 ... ????
Tbh I would just save up for the real thing
Yeah I should clarify I'm not on an absolute shoestring budget here - just looking to put the money where it counts.
Any specific pants reccs? A lot of what I see for chinos is very slim or athletic fit
jcrew chinos
also boston eva is about $60

evan kinori
Four Pocket Pant - Organic Cotton Twill — evan kinori
A slightly relaxed pant, similar in fit to a jean - cut from a dark olive colored organic cotton twill woven in Japan; featuring top entry front pockets with bar-tack reinforcement, U-shape back patch pockets, french seams, corduroy internal waistband facing, bound button-fly, veg-tan leather washer
Noah NY will also have something similar at a price point between j crew and evan kinori
I have a long inseam so can't ever go designer or it won't fit haha
oh sorry, i misread. missed "not" on shoestring budget
how long we talking? it might help get you more specific recs
Up to 36" sometimes. Have fit in as small as 32" though it can widely vary
I just get nervous when something only gives waist size
ah no that's fair. You might want to check out Carhartt WIP, the stuff is a bit overpriced for what it is but you should be able to get 34 inseam options
it's probably also worth just taking a stroll through your mall brands, jcrew, uniqlo u, gap. They'll usually have more sizing options. If you find something that fits you comfortably that's worth more than spending a lot of time searching fruitlessly.
I’ve seen a lot of affordable second hand houndstooth coats or blazers online, any white beanie, any green hoodie (+1 to champion), dickies (874)/carhartt pants, target probably sells clog dupes of the bostons.
the attendant warning for any online vintage coats/blazers is that they often have shitty extraneous detailing like excessive shoulder structuring or waist cinching. Things that may not seem like a big deal through product photos but will make you look like a huge weirdo irl
