How do I import an existing Immich library into Immich?
I have a Immich library made on another pc that I want to put onto a new pc. How do I do that?

i only have my immich library from my old pc and thats all
i accidentally poured water on it lol

I wish I know magic to help you but if you don’t have pack up, it is as good as gone as any other data on the machine that you poured water on
yea i only have the immich library lol
like the actual images and stuff
and i have another pc with immich
but when i point immich on my current pc to the immich library it doesnt show up
I absolutely have no idea what are you trying to achieve my friend, unless you can give us a detail of your situation, it is really hard to help you here. I don’t have a context of other pc and another pc

i was able to back up this from my old pc
and when i make immich's upload location point to this it doesnt show up in immich
when i upload a file it gets uploaded into the correct directory and stuff but i still dont see the other files
So all the metadata of the library is stored in the database, which is now lost on your old PC
so what you will need to do is to upload everything in the library folder to the new instance using bulk upload CLI
then you should be set
