A way to add cloudflare pages project with A record instead of CNAME only?

can it be implemented in the future?
the reason why i am asking is because my DNS Service doesn't have CNAME Flattening or any ANAME or ALIAS record
and the reason why it's not added to cloudflare is because it's a subdomain
the root domain is not added to public suffix list
Is CNAME flattening needed?
for that service? Yes because Cloudflare Pages only has CNAME setup and i can't add to their root subdomain without it
i can add to www.subdomain.domain.com
not subdomain.domain.com
if i leave subname for CNAME empty, it gives out an error
thank god cloudflare doesn't do that
