Going to spend a couple days in Greenpoint and looking for shopping recommendations - I’m into the brands that show up frequently in the WAYWT but prefer secondhand or sale, and I also have an appetite for vintage…

rugged road, L Train Vintage, beacons closet
williamsburg/bushwick will probs be your best bet for all your secondhand needs
Vintage in greenpoint/williamsburg:

Retail in greenpoint/williamsburg:

Also not clothing, but recommend cibone/dashi okume, yoseka stationery, patisserie tomoko, and Acre in that general area.
Stella Dallas is probably my top recommendation, it's hard for me to go in there and not buy something
Look at Brooklyn Denim Co too. They have a good selection of raw denim
Le Labo is a good perfume store too

Not exactly in greenpoint, but there are a bunch of thrift stores in downtown Brooklyn, near Hoyt Street , notably Goodwill
There's a bunch of more expensive vintage thrift stores too
Williamsburg is best for vintage stuff

I’m born and raised Brooklyn, no one from here would claim dumbo and greenpoint are close by subway
And goodwill in New York is not worth going to if you’re visiting
Front general is great, I just wouldn’t expect it to be a quick stop, I’d plan on spending some time in dumbo if you’re going there
Dawg they have goodwills everywhere, it’s like recommending mcdonalds
