What is better for advertising?
I am creating my own minecraft prison server with custom features. I am in the early stages but right now while my partner is coding plugins I am looking into the other side of things. here are my questions.
Is signing youtubers on for content creation a good way to get and keep players?
What are some good paid way's to advertise?
What are some good way's to advertise for free?
are any better than the other?

Hi! I've been promoting a server recently. From free is to make videos for Shorts and TikTOk. They bring in a lot of audience. I know one server, which from scratch, with them reached a large online. Paid ways - it is attracting youtubers. They make videos. They collect views, you get players and plus players will want to play with their idol, so they won't leave. But the way is not cheap. Or buy ads for your youtube video about the server on youtube itself. Gives you a certain reach. Or another social network.
BendersMC has an insane amount of players just from shorts/tiktok
their server is extremely basic, but their players seem to love it
^^ yeah, tiktok / any short form is the new meta.
gone are the days of posting on server sites and hoping to get players
you can get videos done for decently cheap too..
