Starting this thread looking for help sizing a jacket/overshirt that seems ludicrously small given what I know abou the brand's cuts and styling

i guess it's possible it was shrunk
damn that is an old piece. if it's from the early seasons it definitely fits very slim
but yeah i'd avoid. a lot of early evan kinori is not well-thought out in shape nor fabric selection, you're better off putting that money toward a field shirt or something

The navy fabric looks amazing and really liking some of the cashmere stuff as well.
I ended up ordering one of the two pocket shirts in brushed linen/wool twill.
For some reason it’s buried on the new site, but I love that fabric. I had a shirt in the same material get ruined the other day so it was pretty convenient! Excited to get it in person.
god the suiting they've done is so good. loved it for spring 23, and that cotton fine wale cord (almost velvet) in fall looks incredible. they did a great job with the shape and making something unique with a beautiful structure (and very different, elegant construction than the simple bits on most of their pieces)

The Four Pocket Pant has an ~8 inch hem. As somebody who likes EK but doesn't want to go full wide boi, I LOVE The cut of the Four Pocket Pants.

it's a hemp/cotton mix which i don't think lwc does normally
would be really neat to do hemp/cotton jeans for texture but doesn't look like that's what they are
Fit is super good in a way that a lot of lwc tees aren’t for me personally
yeah i got one of the hoodies specifically because they have the super oversized drop shoulder and that fabric mix
i think there's some other changes too like set-in shoulder vs raglan on the normal ones and the kangaroo pocket is a different shape
but im not an expert on lwc just liked the look of the EK hoodie

I haven't had the opportunity to try on any EK. Could someone give some context to how four pocket pants fit? Maybe compared with EG or Orslow or something more mainstream?
I have four pocket pants as well as EG fatigues. The four pocket pants are a little less tapered and less loose in the rear / upper block. The fit is a bit more refined and formal than the EG fatigues. They are also a bit longer than the EG fatigues.
The 4p fit is the most “normal” fitting silhoutte

I used to have a pair of elastic pants in typewriter and personally I didnt like it, it was a very tight weave that didnt breathe well. It was very light and crisp tho

jan jan van essche for similar obsession w/ fabrics. hed mayner has some similar pant silhouettes (but definitely doin its own thang). porter classic has similar corduroys and relaxed blazers in very cool fabrics (lots of sashiko / woven fabrics). Also comoli and auralee are frequently associated with EK in japan.
Depending on what you like about EK, maybe lemaire for casual suiting in fun atypical fabrics?

High waist is top of the ‘waistband’ Waist is I think bottom of waistband? They’re super high waisted so high waist is how they’ll fit if you hike them above belly button and waist is how they’ll fit as more mid-rise

i have a pullover hoodie and it's giant
looks like the zips are similar but even bigger shoulders and slightly bigger p2p
not giant i guess but quite oversized, especially in the shoulders because they're supposed to have a super dropped shoulder seam
and pretty long which i personally like but i know a lot of people want sweatshirts to hit more at the waist
Update - went TTS and it’s not as baggy as the size charts make it seem. It drapes nicely despite how wide the shoulders and chest are.

Anybody here Evan Ki-nerdy enough to help me figure out some details on this shirt? Bought it last year on eBay, listing is down but it was listed as "Evan Kinori Wool Blend Shirt". Despite the shirt itself being in mint condition, the care/materials tag is fully cooked. Trying to figure out the material comp (even what it's blended with) and maybe what model shirt this is.

I think it's mostly in my head, I kinda feel like it's a bit costume-y? And to avoid that I tend to want to wear another shirt underneath and then I have a bit of a density issue where it just feels over-layered.
I also kinda feel like maybe other than a collard shirt it feels like I really gotta lean into the EK aesthetic to pull it off, which I do not have the budge tfor.
I’m tryin to make it work though but it might just be a case where I sell and buy a collard guy instead.
