✅ Wordpress vs self built Blazor app
As the title implies, me and a friend wanted to try out a small e-commerce store and I offered to develop and be the admin for all technical. I started looking into hosting a simple web app on Azure or AWS with blazor but a friend said to look into Wordpress and Squarespace. Anyone with experience that can lend their opinion? Budget is as cheap as possible and this is a side project that I'll manage for fun.

it depends on your skill. wordpress is probably something more mature than anything you're going to write from scratch.
Wordpress is cheaper, considering the labor you'll have to put into building your own solution will be much more expensive.
developing a website from the groud-up is hard, developing a CMS is even harder. So, consider using Wordpress, if you want the easiest and cheapest option. Then again, you always have Joomla. In my experience, it is a better CMS. Whenever I had to touch WP, I got a new gray hair.
