These are Lululemon ABC trench colour pants. Is this colour too light to be versatile?
I plan to wear these with either stan smith white shoes or Clarks beeswax shoes

that's an extremely versatile color imo
i agree, i think it would look good with like a pastel blue/pink polo or button-up for example

these would be an example of much more on-trend chinos
and honestly they look a lot better when they're not blended with synthetics, which give the pants a shiny luster

Like a cliched fit could still be impressive in some places
I don't think there's a dress culture where "stretchy khakis" are on-trend.
