Bonobos tech chinos alternative?

The Bonobos tech chinos were my goto pant for years. They fit me great, were water resistant, lasted a decent amount of time, and were flattering on me. In a word I loved them lol. Unfortunately it seems like they’ve been discontinued. Does anyone have recommendations for something similar as a replacement? * budget: ~$140 * location: US for now, will be relocating to Europe next year so some available in both regions would be a plus but not required right now. * in person or online is fine * happy to wait for a sale * prefer to buy new * usually wear something in the 31/32” waist 30 inseam range. Weight is around 150lbs, height 5.8 * the tech chinos I have were 31x30 in slim Thanks! 😃 Reference page for those unfamiliar with them: https://bonobos.com/products/tech-chinos

I think most advice givers here would recommend to not buy tech chinos. Is there a particular reason you want tech chinos vs regular chinos?

Agreed - does it have to be strictly “chinos” or are you looking for technical pants that fits with office casual wear? Foehn could be up your alley: https://www.wearfoehn.com/collections/mens-bottoms/products/mens-brise-schoeller-chino-pant Also uses Schoeller fabric. Outlier, Theory does too but it has a higher price point. I know you want new but you can get really, really nice deals with second hand if you go for Outlier/Veilance stuff and are prob much nicer than Bonobos.

Lululemon is quite popular for tech “chinos”

I suggest Lululemon ABC pants or even Comission pants Lululemon service is excellent and they always replace your pants no questions asked Online you can get it 80$ new, I saw a seller on ebay selling for that much I believe either ABC or commission has tech fabric, but I recommend warpstream instead

Good question! Mainly I like the water resistance of “tech” stuff during the winter seasons. It rains a lot here and it’s nice to be somewhat dry and decent looking when I arrive somewhere lol Thanks, will take a look! 👍 Cool will take a look at these too!
