Wearing head to toe same brand, yay or nay?
Is it considered tacky in general? If you think so do you think there are exceptions to the rule?

I don't think so, unless the brand is very loud with their branding and you look like you're wearing a costume. I think some people like the catalog or uniform look and others want more varied design language but it probably depends on their individual fashion journey.
