Hello, we are running a bungee network on our VPS with Pterodactyl. Now we have a second machine with another node running but we were wondering how you would setup another server running on the same bungee which is on a different machine. Does anybody have experience with this?

just use the public ip

I dont see how that is supposed to work I was thinking about tunneling the data with wireguard between the nodes

well bungee is just a proxy so u could block external connections and only let the other machines ip connect to it add it that way

i do recommend using velocity tho if u dont have a super specific bungee plugin to run

Ye well velocity is not a solution thanks for the recommendation Have been playing around with wireguard but I am hitting a wall in knowledge so

Why not? You don't need it While this is recommended it's not necessary if u have a secure forwarding secret and modern forwarding setup

I mean I have databases on the first node aswell just trying to avoid opening up ports as much as possible

U can limit what ips have access to it Pretty easily iirc

Nvm I have decided to use tailscale after messing 8 hours with raw wireguard. Only open ports are the ones from nginx and bungee now took me 5 minutes to setup lol Just ran 1 command and logged in and no additional configuration with firewall rules etc !solved
