I like to be annoying about dries and few others do. I feel like the last couple years he has really been finding a groove again 🙂 this is my bat signal
yeah I've really liked most of the recent ones, women's fw22 was my fav in a long while.

This was also my recent fave. A very different feel to lots of his stuff prior but it was so well shot and well designed
AW16 and SS19 are still my favs. But someone (pretty sure a Regular(tm)) described his pieces as 'delicate' and that feels very true

i have a lot of dries and i really wouldnt describe the clothes as delicate
some are sturdy af
of course the sheer stuff is delicate but that's how they're supposed to be
yeah I kinda love that
I do wonder if that's part of why the taste level or whatever seems to vary a lot from collection to collection. like sometimes it's idiosyncratic genius and sometimes it's giving old lady
dvn SS13 is still one of my fave seasons and i own a lot of dries from ss13 to aw16, and a couple from the len lye season.. last few years havent been clicking for me though

I think the most they do is 50% off at the end of the season
You can check Ssense, Mr Porter, Matches, End, etc to see if any of them have the same jackets since they do deeper discounts

A dries jacket at that price youd have to really dig second-hand

I have a decent dries collection at this point but nothing crazy and its really just about passively getting lucky with finds over like 5 years lol

According to Mr porter I normally like something more cropped so was thinking to size down do most people who buy from this brand size down?

Yeah that's where I got them from but just wanted to double check because they're not always 100% accurate
You could probably size down and be fine. It is called “oversized jacket” on the website after all
Keep in mind it may not really fit as its intended to but as long as you can move in it thats up to you
Yeah the measurements on the size small still seemed quite oversized it’s just I would prefer it more cropped suppose I can return too
