For the pokesearch when I search up a Pokémon when look up the cp for example it says 2000cp but when I tp to the Pokémon it says 300 cp

That is because you are too low level

When I search a Pokémon up next to the Pokémon it will tel you cp and iv and also LV and I think it might mean level? Does that mean the minimum level that I need to get that cp?
you need to be level 30 for the cp to be accurate, any pokemon you catch when youre under lvl 30 will have random cp
