It happens suddenly and we are unsure why
The tps is great
so should I care?
+ Elytra Drops TPS to like 17 even if I am the only one using it
does it impact gameplay at all?
Elytra sure does
trying with now slowing it down to half speed
basically generating chunks kills the perf

If you’re flying into ungenerated chunks then there’s your issue
