what's wrong with my collar
This is a Spier and Mackay black label ocbd. The collar just doesn't look right. What should I do to fix it?

You're holding your collar closed rather than using the button. Don't do that.
Seconding ironing the collar, maybe a bit of starch to stiffen it up then button it down

that's pretty normal, you'll just have to choose another collar size next time. some shirts shrink more than others.
Is there a way to expand it again?
When the salesguy suggests a size after taking measurements, do they not account for shrinkage?

Normal cold wash. It's just the top button
Hang dry or did you put it in a dryer?
