What is different between NoChatReports (Server side) and FreedomChat? Is my understanding correct?
From my understanding, through googling and perusing different forums, it seems that NCR (server side) and FC both serve the same purpose in mitigating chat reporting. The latter is a server side Forge/Fabric mod (meaning clients don't need it installed) while the former is a plugin for spigot/paper. My confusion comes from trying to understand how one is advantageous over the other. Is this mainly a matter of what you're choosing to run your server on?
I think I read one comment about having both installed. Does this add any additional advantages? It seems overkill to me.
For context, I just want to run a private server amongst some friends. While I don't think any of us would say anything to warrant being banned, I still want to disable chat reporting out of principle alone. If I bought the game. and am taking on the brunt of the cost in hosting a server, I should be able to dictate what is allowed on that server after all.

What version are you playing on?
If you have any chat plugins like essentials chat or ranks, I'm pretty sure you already disabled chat reports
Thank you
