7 Day warning
I have been using PGSharp for a few years, not done anything crazy with it, kept to cooldown rules.
I woke up this morning with a 7 day strike for using a third party app but didn't really use the app yesterday, only to do a raid and catch some pokemon. I stayed in the same area the entire time.
Is there anyone who might know why I got the strike?

Ofc, every Log in into Pogo can give you a strike, i also got a 7 day with just being in my hometown.
Thats the Problem by using 3rd Party / Modified Apps, sometimes the Server/ anticheat detect it

So know with first strike if this is your Main Acc i would play legit or root Phone, but stop play third Party Apps.
Wirh an alt, just Do what you like
Is rooting phone method safer ?
Ofc, you play with the original Pogo app. Its Not a 100% safe, but more safe than modified Apps

I was outside playing the game for the first time in 3 months

You could but I don't recommend it
Ofc you can, but i recommend playing an second acc to spoof or get best freind with your main, so you can trade stuff from alt to your main

i got it yesterday, i didnt even spoof for quite some time
Sucks I uninstalled my cheats the moment I got the 7 day warning
i was planning on spoofing for mega rayquaza, cuz i will be busy as school starts before the event, but it's too risky
i dont want to get banned on my level 40 account i spent 7 years on

i guess ill try to go to a nearby park with my friends
im lucky i got banned yesterday though, if it was anytime after july 27th i wouldve had to miss out
