Wiping player data

i have mvinv and i need to wipe some player inventories, and i have gone and deleted the files inside of multiverse, in the correct group. But, when i try it on myself, the files reappear with everything as if it never happened. what should i do

also check the player data in the main world file

Even with mvinv the main world is stored there
