Backing up running server?
I'd like to backup my server/system now and then, is it safe to backup the running server using third party software?
(I'm running the server on the latest Ubuntu Linux version and I'd like to use Timeshift for creating snapshot backups, would this cause errors when restoring the machine?)

shouldnt cause any issues
world lock files might be there though so theres that
and if you have save-player-data-on-stop set to true
then player data will be lost since the previous restart
Plugin drivebackupv2 is usually recommended for minecraft
