Are leather sneakers a good choice for the summer, or do they get too hot?
I'm considering buying white leather sneakers for my summer shoes, but I'm worried they might make me sweat and get too hot. Anyone have any experience with them?
If they are good, I'd love some recommendations. Something in the style of the CP Achilles, but under $150.
If they're not good, any recommendations for knit ones (like the Greats Royale Knit) for under $150?

wear breathable socks like merino ones if you've got trouble with sweaty too
and put powder in the shoes

I have some gum sole khoio capris I snagged for ~$150 @sale, and they work fine in 105° f summer heat
Perhaps a little bit more sweat, but the leather definitely holds up ~2yrs later, at least if you alternate use
