did u open it on firewall?
wdym
Including what error you get is also important
oracle has a cloud firewall u need to allow it on
Its just connected refused: no further information
else it wont work
Was that the networking rules thing?
Deploying in Oracle Cloud | setup.md
A modified version of the guide produced by u/Belaboy1095969 on the Admincraft reddit using Ubuntu LTS.
yeah I did all of that
I had the server up and working but it broke when I updated
or sometime recently its been inactive for a few weeks
hmm whats ur server.properties looking like
@ProGamingDK
i dont see anything wrong here
is ufw enabled?
not sure why it should randomly stop working
how could i check?
ufw status
unkown or incomplete command
Am I supposed to do it in the vm or server console?
Dont think my guide even mentioned ufw so idk

Would disabling the firewall be a bad idea?
Firewall turned off, still connection refused: no further detail
@Derpdog could you try first with an unmodded server to decrease the amount of irrelevant things in the logs
You only get 1 free server on oracle and I already have a 6 month old world on this one
you could temporarily move it, but i understand
ohh so it randomly stopped working
got it
i didnt see that bit
same issue right now
lmao
maybe its an oracle problem
I’m self hosting
