What is a good server backend high perfomance and vanilla features
Im looking for a backend that gets decent perfomance but keeps vanilla features. I have used paperMC in the past and loved it but redstone is completly broken.
I have tried FabricMC but im not a big fan of it, and recently its been broken to the point where the console says its running but if i try to connect nothing happens (even on localnetwork). I also dislike how every single plugin needs to be updated for the newer version of Fabric so i have to wait and then redownload all the plugins
My server isnt the most powerful but is fine for a few friends and I to play on.

fabric is the only option
and i have to update each plugin every update?
mod each mc version? yes.
You have to do that no matter which server type you choose
yeah but atleast with papermc i didnt have to update the plugin for the server to work. I could run the old version and wait until the new version comes out and update the plugin
What mods are you using anyway?
nothing too crazy just one to backup the server every restart, tabtps, geysermc
and when i tried installing dynmap it just destroyed everything
i couldnt join even after unintsalling it
When I update my fabric server I just open up PrismLauncher and i make a new instance just for my server
^ that can work
its pretty nice
Then I select all the mods and install them automatically
And open the folder and drag them over to server
prism launcher never heard of it
i use debian on myserver should i install prismlauncher on my windows pc and FTP it to the server
Yeah that's what I do
Makes it faster than going into every Curseforge page and download them manually
Not guaranteed to always be the case
NMS
It seems I’m going with fabric for now. Also my entire world corrupted. Sad times
