Valorant crashing without an error message
Hello, I have been trying to run valorant but after every restart it would only run for a little bit and proceed to crash without an error message. every attempt at starting valorant afterwards only results in an error sound without a prompt or error message. even trying to uninstall valorant is impossible through windows' uninstall menu and i had to manually delete the game files.
ive tried every common fix and troubleshooting methods, other games run fine, my drivers are updated and ive reinstalled twice. any help would be greatly appreciated :)

@Tenebris It has nothing to do with the gpu, what's happening is your vgc service randomly crashes after you've started a match or even are idle in the game
It has nothing to do with the hardware, I'm facing the same problem rn, And at this point its the game itself let me be honest
The drivers are up to date, Tried to restart vgc and stuff but none of that works

factory reset will most likely do the same once again so its not worth resetting
I'm not aware of a working fix yet as I've tried everything in my power, One of the effective fixed were to make the vgc service automatic but that as for now does nothing at all either
So once more, I've come to this specific conclusion that it's not our hardware, its the vgc that crashes

This is hapenning to me too, i get a windows error sound and then Valorant closes itself
Ive turned on TPM because Vanguard has supposedly changed, all this does is get me on the loading screen (finall) and then a No connection message and it crashes again
I've tried uninstall and reinstall, it still doesnt work

It was working fine yesterday evening, then when I logged off and went back on a few hours later it kept doing this
and even when i can get on the game, I click a few tabs and it lags out and crashes again

I'd want you to confirm something if it crashes in the last hour and you haven't restarted your pc
It's crashed in the last 10mins
Go to the windows menu, Search "Services" click on it, And when the window opens, Find "vgc" and look at the status
Does it say "Running"?

At least for me that might be my only fix as I’ve had this issue since February. I even took a two month break from the game because I thought I was the only one and couldn’t play at all with my friends

I'm sat on the loading screen currently, I turned vgc to automatic instead of manual cause saw something on Reddit that said fixed it
Now I'm just staring at deadlock and brimstone

I don’t get any type of error at all my game will just freeze for a second and crash, my game was fine for a total of 11 games two days ago as I thought uninstalling and reinstalling my drivers and then uninstalling and reinstalling the game worked. I was able to play three competitive games, one swift play, and seven team death matches along with a few Death matches as well. And three things didn’t occur in those 11 games which were match found screen freezing on zero, when you’re in the loading screen with the player icons the banners don’t load right away, and when you get in game It says low client FPS in the top right. Those three things were happening previously when my game was bugged, but stop during those 11 games. And then when I crashed on my 12 game those issues reoccurred again that’s how I know my game is still bugged and that will crash in mid games
I voice texted that so hopefully everything makes sense
My VGC was running and when Valorant crashes, it stops running

Yeah my screen just goes back to the launcher and it’s been like that for the beginning of February late January. So I’ve been dealing with it well over six months

I said in my thread page, definitely make a ticket to riot explaining this. The more that they get tickets about it they will know that it’s a bigger issue. Because at this point I feel like it’s just me. As I’ve had two tickets open for over two weeks now because we cannot fix this issue

I appreciate it, other people would definitely leave me in the dust. I do know that I saw one other person I read it say it so I’m not crazy. But my main account was the only account having the issues for the longest time, I would go on my alt account and I was able to play games just fine. However the other day my alt account also started having issues. Which I thought was strange but somebody else said the same thing. so I know it’s not my settings and game
sooo its def not yur graphics card considering yu didn't have this problem on yur alt but still i'd consider yu checking if yur graphics are up to date

i think its because of vanguard, i literally had the exact same issues except my hdd literally died, not just one hdd but 3 of them, all only after installing valorant

did u ever get low client fps in the top right when in game? or when ur in the loading screen to enter the map the banners would not show up right away?
that’s how i know my game is bugged. also my “match found” screen gets stuck on zero for like 8 seconds
so i’m nervous if a factory reset would fix my issue @PeggTing
I've had low client fps a few times and bad connection too when my ping is like 11 on london servers
