No longer receiving [Server thread/INFO] messages in console from ExcellentCrates
About 3 days ago everything worked fine and I haven't touched anything I can think of to effect this.
With Excellent Crates when you /crate key give <user> <name> <amount> it would previously show this in the console:
[07:40:50] [Server thread/INFO]: [ServerName] » Given x1 of Vote Crate Key key(s) to <Username>
All of a sudden this message no longer displays when a crate key is given, but the users get and can use the keys.
Extra info: I tried with a player entering the crate key give command, and it doesn't show. but the main focus is when the voting plugin executes the command, it used to show in console when the crate was added but not anymore. neither plugin has been update or configuration changed.

Sharing your server logs and your config file would be a good first start
Hi, which logs or config are you talking about? There are no logs to see other than what I've posted. The issue is the lack of logs. The Server thread log entry I posted was showing and no longer is. I would like it back for debugging and solving problems purposes. I just checked the config for VotingPlugin and ExcellentCrates and neither config have been modified since April 24th. In all my logs up until 3 days ago they message appears. the prefix is [Server thread/INFO] which leads me to believe its not related to plugin/config
now that I think about it and talking through it, I think I have an idea what may cause this
if I could just remember the setting...
Ok, it is not what I thought.. "broadcast-console-to-ops" would not be related
u can share ur entire logs. not just a snippet
and then share ur config file for the crates and voting plugin
be sure to censor any secrets/keys if u have them
this is a real good way to not get help at all
just fyi
wall of text explaining why you won't deliver any log files is unhelpful to any of us & a disservice to yourself
post the config(s) for the plugin.

Please check your server log for errors from your plugins.
If you need further help understanding the errors, please send us the whole log file.
Where can I find the server log?
Logs are stored in
<server_directory>/logs/
. Search for a file explorer in your server's management interface and navigate to that directory. Once you've opened that up, search for the latest.log
file. Some providers have a separate page for logs and may hide the "logs" folder.
On Aternos:
• Go to https://aternos.org/log/.
On Minehut and server.pro:
• Go to the "files" tab in the left menu.
• Navigate to the root directory of your server.
• From there navigate to /logs/latest.log
.
What should I do with the log?
• First of all, read it! I mean, that's what you do all the time when you run a server, isn't it? Try to locate any errors that have anything to do with the issue you are facing.
• If you got the latest.log
file or created a .txt
file with the necessary errors you can upload these directly to the channel, but we prefer if you upload them to https://mclo.gs/.
• If you have trouble downloading the log file, copy/paste the text to a paste service (like mclogs). Copy the link that it gives you and send it to us. (Don't worry, McLogs hides your users' IPs.)Admincraft Canned Responses
doesn't matter if you don't see anything useful in them. it's "asking for help from other people" step 1. always.
