There are several inprovements that can be done to make the design aesthetically pleasing.
- Firstly The heading looks too small. YOu can use a bigger sans-serif fonts preferably poppins with a big font-weight of around 700. The heading should be most eye catching.
- The font inside the input placeholder is pretty big. It should be one of the smaller text on the page. You can reduce its size by 2-pt.
- The color scheme you have gone is for a grayscale. It is not bad all in all, but the card background and the background color look really dull. Try adding some accent color to make it interesting. Also make use of color gradients, on your buttons and background component.
- The visual hierarchy should be preserved. You can increase contrast by alternating light and dark colors using visual hierarchy. for eg. the background is dark > the card background is light > the font inside the card is dark > the buttons are dark. Something like that.
- Dont try to rigidly stick to the standard colors like red blue white for accent colors. Try other interesting bright colors like purple, pink, cyan, etc.
- The card width is too big. Either increase the max-width of the elements in the card, or reduce the Card width.
- Lastly take a look at the example below for inspiration. And find other sources of inspiration. Just go to some website login, and see if you like it.
