friends cant join server
i port forwarded but my friends cant see my server no matter what, doesnt matter if i give them my IPv4 address, my private ip address, or if they add port to the end of the address, i can join through my ipv4 address tho, also i port forwarded off a router that acts as a repeater for the main one wich i suspect is the issue

you need to forward thru the main one, yes
i have another question, will it even work the way i have everything set up? i have my pc connected through lan to the wifi repeater so if i try to port forward on the main router, wich i cant directly connect to, will it still work?

Ii feel like i expained it badly so i made it in paint
you have to portforward through main router
and u have to give them ur public ip
ipv4 is local
https://www.ipchicken.com
ur public ip is found here
imma have to wait a lil to get access to the main router
every router looks different but ur port forward should look like this

I think udp isn't required so just do tcp
yea it does, just on the extender/repeater
i just have to do that on the main router and it should work
yep
you also need an additional step
only one question, will it even work the way i have it set up? i can only connect to the extender but i have to port forward on the main router
go to windows firewall and allow incoming connections for the port
done aswell
yep just port forward on main router
and it should just work when im connected to the extender then?
I haven't tested that before
yea thats my main concern
imma see
are you nat behind nat
this is a headache I had to deal with myself
i have no clue my father set it up
i have openwrt on the repeater, i could check if you know how i can find out
