How to detect ban evaders?

Hi, How do I detect ban evaders? I have the basic plugins on my server, but nothing really for ban evaders. Is there anyway I could see if the ban evader has the same IP? Or could I check the ip of the player and see if it's the same as the new person who joined

even mojang itself has it but u can use /seen or console to check if 2 accounts are on the same ip iirc you do need specific essentials perms for it tho

banmanager, litebans and I'm assuming advancedbans should notify staff if a banned player logs in from the same IP

Get a antivpn Although residential proxies exist so it isn't foolproof They are pretty expensive tho

So, the owner hasn't done much to prove that the person is ban evading, and since he is the owner I can't install an anti vpn plugin for him. How would I prove that someone is using a vpn? even if i'm not server owner?

kauriAntivpn uses https://isitbad.io/ internally. If you can see their IP, you can put it into that website and see if it's flagged as being related to VPNs
